Introducing the NORM

Our portable hydro energy project includes the ability to perform many physical functions in addition to generating electricity.

The amount of mechanical energy this design can produce is variable. The potential applications are numerous especially in remote areas.

Our objective is to manufacture and share this product to solve concerns we have regarding pollution and waste byproducts.

ANALYSIS FROM A PROFESSIONAL

Mechanical Engineer

Engineer's Notes

The NORM system is motivated by buoyant force in a state of motion. The startling revelation of the shape of the object suspended in water and its bearing upon the bottom of the container causes the container to rotate. The object is shaped in the form of a continuous coil. This coil is composed of segments, swivable as shown in fig. 5. (show diagram, fig 3, 4 and 5).

Its center of shape and weight (while suspended in water) is located on the centroid. The coil becomes continuous by the coil segments swiveling one on another as it passes over pulleys P1 & P2.

The buoyant force F3 acts upon the coil suspended in the water, causing the coil to rise. The swivable coil passes over the pulleys P1 & P2 to reenter the bottom of the container in a continuous manner. This reentry occurs at a radius RF from the centerline of the container. With the container rotatably suspended, the entering coil causes the container to rotate. This container rotation is work being produced by the travel of the coil segments upwards through the container, thus producing usable mechanical moving force.

Who Designed This?

Meet Norm Neufeld

Currently, Norm is CEO of New-Field Energy LLC, a small Virginia R & D company.

Norm Neufeld’s design career included preparation of design drawings for numerous large and small construction projects.

As a project manager, he was responsible for supervising the construction of various projects fabricated by original equipment manufacturers. During some of this time, he researched and developed self-selected projects simultaneously.

The priority concept he worked on is called theNORM. A revolutionary 24/7 portable buoyant force energy transfer concept that is environmentally compatible.

FAQ

Questions & Answers

Why is this buoyant force Energy Transfer design very efficient?
Physics, logistics, mathematical calculations, and Archimedes buoyancy principle react in concert. For each cubic foot of water displaced, approximately 62.3 pounds of uplift (flotation), is transferred to provide usable moving mechanical energy.

“Flotation then Rotation”

Can this machine be downsized or upsized?
Yes.

What could be a startup marketing strategy?
Possibly charging stations and remote off grid homes.

Why did it take so long to arrive at a valuable conclusion?
Without the time and research involved, the design could not have been proven and become “optimal”.

Does the NORM energy design create physical energy?
No, the design transfers the constant buoyant (floatation) force of water into usable rotating mechanical energy.

Of what material is the coil made?
Since the coil “chain” is in balance prior to adding water, the helical shapes can be constructed using metal, plastic, or any acceptable material.

How do you start the machine?
“Just add water” to create uplift within the tank and vector force will rotate it. This will cause the endless coil chain to enter the warped shape bottom of the tank simultaneously. Add water to replace spillage.

Will the weight of the water in the rotating tank be too heavy?
No. The helical shapes within the tank displace most of the water with no loss of flotation energy.

Why is this design preferred over costly wind and solar power?
This portable design can produce physical usable energy 24/7 and does not require batteries.

How long will it turn to provide energy?
When filled with water, theNORM energy will continue transferring the buoyant force to usable physical energy until the parts wear out. The best known materials will be used to extend the value of the design.

What are some of the practical applications?
It can turn an electric generator, charge batteries, activate industrial tools and equipment, etc.

Where can this design be used?
The design is portable so can be used in homes, businesses and remote locations.

Can theNORM design be upscaled and downscaled?
Yes, different manufacturing processes may be used for smaller or larger units. All basic proven scientific principles still apply to any size of theNORM energy design.

Is theNORM design patented?
Yes. U.S. patent No. 10,612,590.

Why is this unique machine called theNORM?
the N.O.R.M. is an acronym for N.atural O.perating R.evolutionary M.achine.

Why didn’t someone think of this design before?
No time was spent researching that question.
